Welcome to the Science Department Homepage

Intent: Science at Brimsham aims to encourage the enthusiasm of all learners, to extend their knowledge of all three Sciences both within the formal and informal curriculum. We build student aspiration by promoting inclusive clear pathways into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) higher learning and careers. We will use independent learning opportunities and investigations to develop their skills in enquiry and resilience. Our curriculum is designed to have a spiral nature, embedded with cross-curricular links, giving students opportunities to reflect and build on gained knowledge in Science. Through our broad diverse curriculum, students will grow to become responsible scientists, questioning the world around them.
