These pages are for both parents and students and provide a wide range of information to help students both enjoy their time at Brimsham and realise their potential as learners.
We hope to have included all the information you will find useful but if you are unable to find the information you need please do not hesitate to contact us.
NOTICE - distance learning
Students that are currently self-isolating and well enough to complete school work, should be accessing lesson work via Show My Homework. Our aim is to ensure that we minimise the impact of absence from school on student learning . Some tasks that teachers have set require students to access the OneDrive and the Student Shared Drive to find linked learning materials. It is worth noting that both platforms are also really useful for further independent learning, if your child wants to do more work!
In case any student has forgotten how to access OneDrive or the Student Shared Drive, please find a simple set of instructions by clicking here. Thank you to Mr Marsh for producing this guide.
Teachers have set tasks that follow the pattern of students’ timetables, so the length of the work set should fit the length of the lesson missed. Teachers have done this with the aim of encouraging students to follow the routine of their timetable whilst at home. We believe this will lead to better learning as students engage with a variety of activities and have a structure to their learning, whilst at home.
At the moment, thankfully, our staffing levels are enabling us to remain open to all students. In the event of school closure, being able to access the OneDrive and Student Shared Drive will be critical, but they are also invaluable platforms from which students can access revision materials at any time of the school year.
