Year 7 Catch-up
The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives schools additional funding to support year 7 students who did not achieve at least level 4 in reading and/or maths at the end of key stage 2 (KS2).
During academic year 2015-16 Brimsham Green School received a total of £13,500 catch-up premium which we used to help fund smaller group classes that focused on literacy and numeracy. The cost to supply teaching staff and resources for these classes was £28,913.
