Welcome to the Science Department Homepage
Our students need to work as scientists with their ideas being valued. Students must develop transferable skills that allow for personalised progression and continued lifelong learning. Our students require a variety of activities that are more open ended, with students being able to critically reflect on their work. Enquiry must drive our curriculum. Pupil engagement and motivation is the key to success for all. It is crucial that our students have confidence to believe they can achieve and we provide opportunities for this. Context is more important than concepts and outcomes more important than proposals. Our students must show respect for others and for themselves.
