Results - Summer 2017 Results Summary:

A) Key Stage 4 Achievement

  • Progress 8 score: -0.04 (a score of 0 indicates that students have achieved the grades expected of them by the Department for Education, based on students’ KS2 reading and mathematics scores)
  • Progress 8 score for high attaining students: +0.08
  • Progress 8 score for middle attaining students: +0.02
  • Progress 8 score for low attaining students: -0.92
  • Attainment 8 score: 46.40 (equivalent to a C+ grade)
  • Attainment 8 score for high attaining students: 59.75 (equivalent to a B+ grade)
  • Attainment 8 score for middle attaining students: 41.03 (equivalent to a C grade)
  • Attainment 8 score for low attaining students: 15.41 (equivalent to an F grade)
  • Percentage achieving a ‘strong’ pass in English and maths (grade 5 or above): 49%
  • Percentage achieving a ‘standard’ pass in English and maths (grade 4 or above): 67%
  • Percentage achieving a ‘strong’ pass in English: 57%
  • Percentage achieving a ‘strong’ pass in maths: 62%
  • Percentage achieving a ‘standard’ pass in English: 74%

English and maths progress for students working towards L2 (GCSE) outcomes:
