Year 9 Parents' Evening - online booking system

For the Year 9 Parents’ Evening that will be held on Tuesday 12 February 2019, our new online booking facility will allow you to book appointments with your child's teachers from any device with internet access, including mobile phones, desktops, laptops and tablets.

You can log on to the facility at any time and appointments can be booked from Tuesday 29th January until midday on Tuesday 12th February.

To access the facility, please visit and enter your details as shown in the illustration below.

This facility will allow you to pick who you would like to see from a list of your child's teachers, tutor and Head of House. You can choose the times you want and you will receive an email confirmation of your appointments or you can print a list if preferred.

This facility will allow you to include short messages to each teacher when booking appointments and you can change or cancel your appointments at a later date if needed.

You can also use this facility to inform the school if you are unable to attend this event.

This facility allows for a 5-minute commute between appointments to try and ensure the evening runs to time so you are less rushed between appointments.

If you do have spare time in between appointments, or at the beginning and end of the evening, you may wish to meet with Mr Penberthy, our Careers’ Advisor, who will be in attendance. There will also be a stall showcasing the variety of online and hardcopy resources that are available to support students’ learning, such as Hegarty Maths.

Please note that Mrs Jones, the Head of Business Studies, will be available in room D4 from 3:30 to 5.00 pm if you wish to drop in and discuss Business Studies as a potential GCSE option. Mr Russell will be available in the Drama Hall to discuss the various Support options to which we have invited some of our students.

May we also remind you of the Guided Choice Parent Information Evening from 6pm – 7pm on Tuesday 29th January; at this you will collect your child’s Guided Choice booklet and receive information about the process of selecting their GCSE & BTEC Options for Years 10 & 11.

If you do not presently have access to the internet, then your child can use the school’s computers to book appointments on your behalf. Please complete the form below and ask your child to present it to me and I will arrange access to a school computer.

I hope you enjoy using the new system.
