Poetry competition success

We are delighted that six of our students have been successful in the Young Writers Competition. The competition was designed to inspire our students to express themselves through poetry, to provide them with a platform to voice their opinions, thoughts and feelings, to break down barriers, destroy stereotypes and liberate their creativity.

The students' poems can be read via the links below:

Lily Allan 'Hurt'
Jack Barry 'Ideas'
Cameron Stillie 'Secrets'
Sebastian Stillie 'The Laughing Old Man'
Jolie Dyer 'The Girl Who Once Was Me'
Keeley Szmaglik 'Me'

All six poems have been selected to be published in ‘Poetry Escape - Poets from the South West’.
